For the sculpture contest commenced with the slogan of “Who Said The Fairy Tales Are Not Real?” in order to develop the skills of the children, enable them to discover themselves and grow up as more creative individuals, it has been requested from the little ASAŞ members to draw a picture of the legendary characters in their dreams, and to tell the Powers of the characters with a little composition

All members of ASAŞ family came together on 1 May Labour Day this year for an important and enjoyable activity. For this year’s activity, the little ASAŞ members changed the roles with their fathers and mothers, and won the hearts again.

ASAŞ added ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certificate to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO/TS 16949 and IRIS Management System certificates, too. Crowning its existing studies with ISO 50001 certificate, ASAŞ aims to consider the energy effectiveness in all its activities, and to make the system sustainable by transforming the energy consciousness into a culture in the company through the trainings provided.

ASAŞ laid the foundations of a formation which aims vocational and personal development for all its employees and shareholders which is in interaction with. ASAŞ, with the aim of a journey to the perfect by seeking continuous development and with the awareness of the contribution on the development of societies provided by the continuous learning; decided to execute the education and development support under the structure of ASAŞ ACADEMY by developing it further.

ASAŞ, which is in 91st rank among the largest industrial Establishments of Turkey, has been a beacon of hope for a patient through the match of samples taken under “Blood, Thrombocyte and Stem Cell Donation Campaign” which it initiated in order to increase the number of voluntary, conscious and regular blood donators and support the donations to become widespread.

ASAŞ Continues to Carry the Title of Being the First R and D Centre of Turkey in Aluminium Sector.

In the DIGIT ALL launching meeting which the representatives of SAP Turkey have also attended, the Digital Transformation Project was introduced which shall start in all departments of ASAŞ in order to create a better customer and employee experience.

ASAŞ participated in fair of R+T roller shutter, sunshade, door / shading systems held in the city of Stuttgart, Germany. Naturoll NanoClean Roller shutter product, which have the features of getting hardly dirtied and self-cleaning with the photo-catalytic impact together, is introduced for the first time in this fair.

ASAŞ has experienced the happiness of being able to contribute to the health of society through the successful actualisation of the first stem cell transfer with its blood, thrombocyte and stem cell donation campaign which has been traditionalized under the corporate social projects. A chance is arisen for ASAŞ family to be able to touch the lives of two more cancer patients with the news of 2nd and 3rd stem cell matches.

Establishing a basketball school with the motto of “Children Are Our Future” under the corporate social responsibility, ASAŞ develops projects to enable the future’s adults to be more successful individuals.

Derya Hatiboğlu became the new General Manager of ASAŞ, which revealed a successful growth graphic with its investments leading the sector since its establishment in 1990, and which is in the 79th rank in the top 100 of ISO 500 in 2016.

ASAŞ received the Grand Prize in “Aluminium Rods and Profiles” category, and Runner-Up Prize in “Aluminium Sheet & Plate and Foil” category at the Award Ceremony of Metallic Stars of Exportation, which is organized by the Association of Istanbul Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters (IDDMIB) and given to the firms which made the highest exportation in 2015.

The Organization of “Those Adding Value to Life”, which is held by ASAŞ to reward the successful works, to assess the previous year, to have an enjoyable time altogether, and to make a stronger start for the next year; is held at Sheraton Grand İstanbul Ataşehir. The event started with the opening speeches of Derya Hatiboğlu – General Manager, ASAŞ -, and Safa Bayar Yavuz – Member of Executive Board.

ASAŞ Project Management System is elected as one of the five best practises in 2nd R&D Centres Best Practices Summit held on 16-17 May in Kahramanmaraş. ASAŞ Project Management System provides advantages such as ensuring saving of time on Project writing and approval periods, creating a corporate memory, creating a simple assessment and monitoring systematic, and dynamic reporting.

ASAŞ held the Night for Those Adding Value to Life. At the night, which second of it held this year, the awards of “On-Site and Immediate Quality”, “Health, Safety, Environment” and “Aces of ASAŞ” Project Contest were given.

ASAŞ did not forget the children which are the most valuable beings and source of happiness of its employees this year, as in the last year. Both a gift has been given to the kids who made paintings in order to increase the interest of children in arts and to enable them to develop a deviationism ability with arts; and a painting book which included a story named as “Aluminium Is Valuable” gifted to all children who brought 3 aluminium soda cans with them, in order to develop recycling consciousness.

ASAŞ introduced the product groups of aluminium and PVC window and door systems, composite panel, roller shutter and steel shutter systems, flag and lighting poles in Turkeybuild - İstanbul Fair which it participated on 10-14 May 2016.

ASAŞ, which is one of the biggest companies listed in ISO 500 in Turkey with its 5 state-of-art production facilities in Akyazı, Sakarya region and over 2000 workers and stable growth trend since its incorporation in 1992, and which is also one of the leading producers in Europe, received the 1st Prize in the category of ‘Aluminium Bar and Profiles’ and the 2nd Prize in the category of ‘Aluminium Coil & Sheet and Foil’ at the Metallic Stars of Export Award Ceremony that was organized by Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association (İDDMİB) and given to those companies that made the highest amount of exports in 2015.

Believing in sustainable development and continuing the R&D journey full of innovations from the date it is established until today, ASAŞ strengthened its leading role in Turkish aluminium sector as a firm being the first in its sector entitled to receive the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology Certified R&D Centre title on 18.11.2015.

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day is celebrated with a painting contest with subject of “Viewing Children’s Day from Our Children’s Point of View” by Asaş’ Artistic Activities Club.

ASAŞ took part in R+T Stuttgart 2015 Fair. ASAŞ introduced the roller shutter and steel shutter systems under Naturoll brand and tube engines, accessories and control systems under Motoroll brand in the Fair which is performed on 24-28 February 2015.
